This edition is not thematic: the papers which make it up are on Philosophy, the Middle Ages, Education and Languages.

Alexander Fidora and Andreas Niederberger discuss the "Renaissance" of the XII century and Antonio Linage revisits the Monumenta Germaniae Historica.

In Convenit 1 we published three lectures given by Julián Marías; Filosofía y Autenticidad is another lecture of his. Ho Yeh Chia has made a translation into Chinese, with an introduction, of an interview given by Julián Marías.

Ángeles Almacellas's lecture on Moral Education and my lecture on Anthropology and Education in the New Catechism of the Catholic Church are both taken from the I Congresso Latino de Filosofia da Educação.

José Siqueira analyses the concept of risk in Management; Jesús Rodriguez presents a valuable lexicon of the Hittite language and Joaquín Jareño discusses some key concepts in the functioning of "language games".

Included in our electronic edition is "Alonso de Proaza, «homo litterarum, corrector et excelsus editor»" by Jordi Pardo Pastor and "A experiência filosófica brasileira na atualidade" by Antônio Joaquim Severino.

We wish to thank the authors and editors for the high quality of the articles and to express our special gratitude to Dr. José Meirinhos, the editor of Convenit for the Gabinete de Filosofia Medieval da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto.
